Who We Are AIMusicTest ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at **https://aimusictest.com**, an online AI Music Detector that helps users check whether a song may be AI-generated. When you sign in with Google we request only `openid`, `email`, and `profile`. --- ## 3. How We Use Your Data - To provide the detection service (upload, analyze, show results); - To manage accounts, Free Scans, and purchased Full Scan Credits; - To process payments and prevent fraud or abuse; - To respond to feedback and support requests; - To understand product usage and improve the service; - To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. We do **not** sell your personal data. We do **not** use your uploaded audio to train AIMusicTest's own models. --- ## 4. Audio Privacy and Retention (Important) - Your uploaded audio is used **only to perform the detection you requested**. It is not published, not shared with other users, and **not used to train AIMusicTest's own models**. - We send **only the trimmed sample** (30s or 60s, taken from the middle of the track) to our third-party detection processor. We do not send the full track. - **AIMusicTest-side retention:** we retain your original upload and the extracted sample **for a maximum of 24 hours**, and normally delete them as soon as the detection is complete (or, if a scan fails, as soon as the credit or free scan is refunded). The 24-hour window is a safety net for retries and cleanup only. - **Third-party processor retention:** the detection processor retains the submitted sample and its outputs under **its own policy**, which for its standard self-service service is currently **up to 35 days**, after which the data is permanently deleted. This third-party retention period is **separate from, and longer than, our 24-hour retention**. See §7 for the current processor. - We do **not** keep a user-viewable detection history, and we do not build long-term IP behaviour profiles or device fingerprints. **Upload notice shown in the product:** *Your audio is used only for analysis and automatically deleted from our storage within 24 hours. Our detection provider may retain the submitted sample under its own policy (currently up to 35 days).* --- ## 5. Detection Provider Authorization Our detection service relies on a third-party AI music detection provider, **Modulate, Inc.** We operate AIMusicTest under **written authorization obtained from our detection provider** that permits us to offer a publicly available, consumer-facing AI music detection service and to display detection results to end users. - **Authorization reference:** Available from the operator upon legitimate request - **Authorization effective date:** The effective date stated in the applicable provider agreement - **Authorized scope summary:** Public, consumer-facing AI music detection and display of results, subject to the provider agreement The detection provider acts as our **data processor / service provider** and processes the submitted sample solely to return detection results. Detection outputs are generated by the provider and are **not factual determinations, legal conclusions, or professional advice** (see our Disclaimer and Terms of Service). --- ## 6. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the **EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)**, the **UK International Data Transfer Addendum**, or an applicable adequacy mechanism, together with a transfer impact assessment. We maintain an internal record of processing activities and a current list of sub-processors. --- ## 8. Cookies and Analytics We use strictly necessary cookies / local storage to keep you signed in, remember your quota, and secure requests. These do not require consent. Analytics setup: Option A: Google Analytics, loaded only after user consent - **If Option A is chosen:** analytics cookies are loaded **only after you consent** via our cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time via **Cookie Preferences**. "Reject All" is offered as prominently as "Accept All". We honour the **Global Privacy Control (GPC)** signal. See our **Cookie Policy** for details. --- ## 9. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. - **How to make a request:** Because this version does not offer an on-site account page, our official privacy-request channel is email. Send deletion, export, access, or correction requests to **support@aimusictest.com**. - **Response times:** we respond within **1 month** (GDPR) or **45 days** (CCPA/CPRA). - We will verify your request before acting and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. **California residents:** we do **not** sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. You have the right to know, delete, and correct, and to opt out of sale/sharing (even though none currently occurs). Children The service is not directed to children. You must be at least **13** years old (or **16** where required in the EU) to use it, and users under the age of majority must have guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the service, contact us and we will delete the data promptly. --- ## 11. Security, Retention and Breach Notification We keep API keys and secrets server-side only, isolate users' scan jobs, verify payment webhooks, use transactional and idempotent credit logic, and avoid long-lived public audio URLs. No system is 100% secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected users and the competent supervisory authority as required (for example, **within 72 hours** under the GDPR where applicable). --- ## 12.
